| Does anyone know a good server to play on when our server is offline? Soon I'll be making one, a simple and basic one, but still a server. I'll make it as soon as I wipe all of the data off my computer, there is too much crap on it. Until then, someone post the servers they play on when this one is not on.

| heeh, its harder than you think. you need a router compatible to peort forwarding, or run it in DMX mode which screws up certian downloads (like utorrent). GOOD LUCK.

| ok guys, i made one.. its really basic, and its not really all that fun... but it IS a backup server. here is the IP: 192.168.2.4:27015 I'm not gonna lie, it'll suck some serious balls, but at least it'll work. i'll install some plugins though. no worries!

hey, while i was practicing on my server, i tried to enable admin_godmode on myself. but it only said Quote (my server) *WF* THE HITMAN has had godmode disabled on them

ok, what you wana do is go look at ur router, and find the model name. then find it in the list found here --> port forwarding for CS and find ur router in the list. then follow instructions. ta da. (and yes the list is for cs) Added (2008-01-30, 12:27 Pm)

oh yea and the godmode problem....i dont know i had the same problem on valeriy's server ur gona have to ask him. sorry. ill try googling it for you.

how yea a solution to ur problem with server, make sure u use sv_lan 0 and also you (unfortunately, also the reason i dont run a server) have to turn off ur firewall. good luck AGAIN
