| woow. Good job on the server. When will it be online? and you can't change the thread name. or maybe you could just make your own clan because no one really plays on this one. But it is still a valiant effort.

| I have tested the server and had 50 people who added it to favs (yay me) but i have a couple problems: 1. i can't add myself as admin (i tried users.ini etc) 2. IT LAGS SO MUCH. i don't know why i turn off ALL backgrounds tasks and everything! I am probably gonna post times when i will keep the server on and since i have good memory i will put it on at perfect times!! hehe!

| sweet.. oh about the admin thing, are you sure you did it according to format? this is how it shoulda been done: Adding admins Open HLDS\cstrike\addons\adminmod\config\users.ini with wordpad . Add a line like this :
Nick:password:131071 ( 131071 is the highest admin level ) . If you want to add an admin with lower access level go to adminmod manual (you`ll find it in the installation folder - Adminmod\docs) and look for Admin Mod Reference\Acces levels. Choose the levels you wish and then press Calculate Access Right. Type the number displayed in users.ini admin line .
Attention ! If you try to connect to the server as an admin with setinfo_pw “your password” , and the commands doesn`t work, console type admin_password “your password”.

| guess who childrens. youngkiller, did you find the right user.ini? there should be two, one for amx and one for admin mod. you HAVE installed admin mod, right? for amx, you can't use admin_commands (obviously, it has to be amx_). And also, it may lag due to you internet connection. Most people whould host a server of about 4 - 8 people. The only reason this WF server hosts more is because it is hosted on a professional serve, which is paid for by valeriy. Also, you have to "log in" for admin powers to work. in your console (while in game) type admin_login (your password here ((without brackets))) hope i helped. Added (2008-06-03, 6:05 Pm)

ah ha! found a nice way to make money to rent my own cs server, be it source or 1.6. doesn't really matter, but source would be preferable. anyway, if you wana help out, visit http://www.thatguywhopwnzu.webs.com/ its my amazing site lol. its basically a nice site for cs:s noobs.click on the ads at the bottom (how i make my money) but don't do it more than once a minute. you can close the window that results, it's really the click that counts. the money gets put into my paypal account and tada! a nice rented lag free server, with big bandwidth. sound like an idea?

| angel sounds great and thanks for the help with admin thing i will try that as soon i can. by the way why can't you make a couple of websites to give you even ore money liike 1 for cs 1 for cars or somehting else etc. i know youre a smart guy you can easily make a website like that.

IT WASN'T A LINK. it was normal text :P. ever heard of COPY AND PASTE. and it fails because i changed the site name. sorry to make you look dumb :P. the new site name is www.csstat.webs.com. NOT IT IS NOT A FRIGGIN LINK. obviously i have to specify that from now on, because its apparently not obviously to some people. and yes, that is the permanent site name. I'm only going to update it when i get more traffic however. why? because i'm lazy. btw, the csstat stands for counter strike source tips and tricks. oh and btw, i was joking about the "sorry" to make u look dumb, i actually enjoyed it very much. almost as much as FIRE! lol. oh and youngkiller, the advertisement money COULD be higher with 2 sites, but i would have to do EVERYTHING again (i.e: register with google directories, create the site, register on freewbes......etc. also, it need sites with return visitors. how to do this? make your site a resource. Constantly update with stuff you know about. cars, i do not know much about >< so it would be a bad idea. besides, updating one site is more than enough work unless i hire GeekSquad to work for me or sumthin. good idea though.
