Overview: A cult hit, the TMP is silenced, fast and deadly, and accurate. If you need to make every dollar count, you could go with a TMP, but remember, it is VERY weak. The silencer does make the TMP a great weapon, it almost appears as if you're not firing; Enemies will not fear you and attack other CT's. Irony strikes there, because even with little power, this baby will kill quickly. Try using a TMP past the fourth round where everyone has assault rifles, and you'll still come out on top, if you have skill.

Overview: Holding a 100 rounds, being somewhat inaccurate, having a high rate of fire, and slowing the carrier down makes this gun great for laying down suppressive fire whilst ducking. Or, of course, you could rush and try to eliminate the other team with it. Chances are, however, that someone with an assault rifle will kill you, in the process making you look like an idiot. You can, however, kill from amazing distances if you use bursts.
Overview: Use this to give yourself the power to take a few more hits. Most CS veterans buy this combination every round, so be prepared to spend the big bucks if you want to survive the battles.
Overview: When deployed you are invulnerable to frontward
attacks, but suffer a movement penalty and cannot shoot. When not
deployed it hangs off to the side offering less protection, but allows
you to shoot. This item can only be used with pistols.
Overview: This baby will blind people. Use to clear campers and as a large distraction, but watch out! It blinds teammates, also.
Overview: This is a grenade that explodes and produces a
small radius blast. If someone gets a direct hit, they can get knocked
down to 25 health points (of, if it magically hits their head, to 0). Use to injure people or kill people who are on their last leg.
Overview: When you throw this grenade it spits out smoke. Eventually, it will blanket a large area. A vital tool for an offensive team.
Overview: This holds the defuser, if you're you're a CT and
it's on the ground, pick the pack up to get a defuser. If it's on a
person he has a defuser. 'Use' C4 with this item to defuse the bomb.
You may defuse without it, but it takes twice as long (10 seconds).
Overview: Very useful on any setup, but may slow down your computer to single digit fps. It creates a large light around yourself which lights up the environment and other players. Good item, but a huge price.
Overview: This is C4. If you see it planted: run. If you're a
CT 'use' it and defuse the bomb, it'll take a while to do it so be
patient. You must select C4 from slot5 and hold down fire to plant it.
